Project History
The Center of Excellence for Global Trade & Supply Chain Management received a grant from the Community Economic Revitalization Board (CERB) to assist businesses in their export strategy development in order to ultimately grow exports from Washington state.
Washington State Export Resource Center (WERC)
In addition, a valuable online resource was developed – the Washington Export Resource Center (WERC). This website features a variety of international trade and exporting resources for companies wanting to engage in global business, including those new to exporting. For example, for the new entrant to international trade, there is an export readiness assessment as well as a free online exporting course available to anyone.
