Securing Supply Chain Summit

After three years, your Center of Excellence for Global Trade and Supply Chain Management, in partnership with the Center of Excellence for Homeland Security and Emergency Management, are once again planning our annual Securing the Supply Chain Summit. The 2022 summit will be held on Tuesday October 18th at Highline College’s Mount Constance Conference room in Building 8.

This year’s summit will focus on Building Resilience through Sustainability. We are very excited to host our Keynote speaker, Philip Palin, who is an author and an independent researcher and a world renown expert in the field of supply chain resilience and disaster preparedness. Philip will be leading small group discussions following his presentation on actions we can take now to prepare ourselves for uncertainty and disruptions in the supply chain.

The Center Director, Sam Kaplan, will be providing the lunch keynote to discuss the recent supply chain study abroad trip to Vietnam, and his observations working with industry there. Additional speakers include Linda Crerar, Amy Gillespie, John Holdsworth, Dante Disabatino, Elyssa Tappero, Julian Sharpe, Irene Shaver, Scott Heinze, Curry Mayer, and Celia Taylor. If you are interested in attending, please register for either the Zoom or the in-person option.
